Draws will take place on the hour every Thurs from 14h00 to 16h00 and every Friday from 18h00 to 19h00.

Draw takes place at the casino stage area using the random Patron selector (RAPS) – Slots & Tables.

Patrons are required to actively game on any slots or tables games to and earn a minimum of 15 points to stand a chance to be selected.

Two participants will be selected via the random electronic selection (RAPS) every hour

Different secret codes will be placed inside a bowl, only one specific code is correct

Two selected participants will be given an opportunity to choose a secret code to attempt and open the safe

The order in which each contestant is drawn will determine the order in which they choose the code and attempt to open the safe

Should selected patrons fail to open the safe they will be awarded with a consolation +Play of R200 each

Should one of the selected patron open the safe they will receive the cash value as per draw day, of which the Cash prize every hour on Thursdays’ is R2000 Cash and every hour on Fridays’ is R1500 Cash

The base value of the safe is R2000 Cash per hour every Thursdays and R1500 Cash per hour every Fridays.

  4. Participants earn points by playing on any Slots or Tables using Blackrock Rewards card at Blackrock Casino during the promotion period
  5. Draw entries cannot be purchased for cash or through any other form of consideration.
  6. Prize winners will be selected by way of a random selection draw (RAPS). Draw times, dates, and points criteria to earn will be as per advertised through advertising mediums used for this promotion.

  10. Only patrons gaming during draw times are eligible to participate on this promotion

  1. Should the prize winner who is eligible for a prize be a customer that has opted in to receive communication, the casino shall take all reasonable steps to contact the prize winner via the contact details provided by and available for the guest on the loyalty rewards membership system or otherwise readily available. In such circumstances, the prize winner will have 15 days from the day of the draw to claim their prize at the Customer Service Desk. If the prize is not claimed within the 15 days a re-draw will take place.
  2. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise advertised. Prize winners must sign for receipt of prizes.
  3. The prize winner must claim the prize at the casino within 15 days of the draw at the Customer Service Desk.
  4. All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into;
  5. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified;
  6. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of Management;
  7. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by their participation;
  8. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force;
