Celebrate Chinese New Year with Us

After the past years' success Blackrock Casino will host the 3rd annual Chinese New Year celebrations to take place on
28 January 2012.

Entertainment will include:

• Live entertainment at Blackrock's car park area from 4pm to 5pm
• Lion dancers
• Traditional Chinese dancers

There will also be a mini fireworks session and the public is invited to view all the activities taking place, thereafter there will be a gala dinner at 8pm in a marquee.

550 Chinese community members are invited including the Chinese ambassador. The dinner is by invite only. During the gala dinner there will be on going entertainment where a magician/ balloon modeler will entertain guests. Lucky draws will take place during the dinner. The lantern ceremony will follow after the dinner at 8:30pm where the lanterns will be let loose in the sky. This is a 1st for Newcastle.
