Blackrock Casino makes the circle bigger for Heritage day 2011
Blackrock Casino is making the circle bigger for this year’s National Heritage (Braai) Day on September the 24th and is inviting members of the community to come down to the casino for a sumptuous, truly authentic South African braai.
The event kicks off at 13:00, with the festivities continuing until 19:00. There will be live band and a DJ to entertain guests, as well as a beer garden. Children will also be treated to loads of fun activities. Such as balloon modeller, jumping castle, face painting, etc.
“National Heritage Day, which has also aptly been dubbed ‘national braai day’, is a wonderful opportunity for South Africans of all creeds and cultures to come together and celebrate our rich heritage.
“Above all else, it is a day for celebrating friends and family which is why we’ve created an open event for families from our community to enjoy,” says John McGregor, general manager at Blackrock Casino.
People interested in attending the grand-scale braai are urged to purchase tickets at Blackrock Casino’s cash desk as soon as possible. Tickets are R120 per adult and R60 per child under the age of 12 years. This fee includes a braai menu and entertainment. Special discount rates for group bookings.
